My mission is to build and scale platforms that connect people to the world around us

I am a multidisciplinary designer and trusted team leader working at the intersection of digital experiences, AI, and places. Based in New Orleans, I’m an architect by training, design leader by practice, explorer at heart, mentor by nature.

Most recently Director of Product Design at Walmart, I led cross-functional teams to deliver omnichannel services bridging digital and in-store experiences for all Americans regardless of bank account or credit score, and owned design for all of Walmart Connect, a portfolio covering billions in revenue.

At IA Collaborative, I grew and led a hybrid design and strategy practice at the intersection of places and digital product, growing from Senior Designer to Director of Experience Design and integrating a philosophy of servant leadership focused equally on design excellence, growth, and belonging.

My background spans a wide range of topics covering water strategy, buying tires, home repair, package delivery, civic tech, elementary education, cattle husbandry, global travel, and rural resiliency. Educated at Michigan and Harvard, I've practiced in the offices of Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects, Oualalou+Choi, Eskew+Dumez+Ripple, and the Office of Jonathan Tate, and served on the architecture faculty at Michigan and Louisiana State University. I'm co-founder of the Blue House, a shared working community in New Orleans, and Plot, a participatory urbanism app.

I have teamed with some of the world’s leading organizations to deliver transformative digital, architectural, product, and service design:
